In Ballyglunin, we have three lessons for a day: gramatic, speaking/vocabulary and listening.
We divide us in three groups (Yale, Princeton and Harvard), depend of your level. Yale is the group for the guys
with a less level. Princeton is in the middle and Harvard that is the class
with more level.
These lessons start at 9.30 AM, the second lesson is
at 10.20 AM and the third and the last lesson is at 11.15 AM. We have lessons
during three hours.
Gramatic:
the teacher of this lesson is John, who has been a
director in a school of Ireland. In this lesson, we are learning many
importants things about the English gramatic. At the moment, in this class we
learned: the order of the words in the phrases (subject + verb + object + place
+ time), the uses of at, in, on and for, the uses of while, during, since…, the uses of a or an, the present and the past
simple.
Speaking/vocabulary:
in this lesson the teacher is Martin. This teacher gives class in a school,
in Ireland. Here, we are learning many words of the English vocabulary. Also,
we have a word with Martin about the actuality for improving English. Then we
read histories that they make better our pronunciation.
Listening:
the listening class is a lesson where we watch a TV serie, Futurama. This serie
is very funny and we so enjoy. The activity in this lesson, apart of listen, is
fill blanks in the English subtitles.Our teacher is Joseca, the only one that
is Spanish, but he always talk in perfect English. He is teacher in a school of
Madrid, Alborada.
