Meals in Ireland

When we arrived to Ballyglunin we adapted to the traditional irish meal time. This timetable hasn´t anything to do with the spanish schedule-eating. However, we have in common that we eat lunch at 2 o´clock, aproximately. The irish meal time is the following:

-The breakfast is at 9 o´clock: It is similar to the spanish breakfast.

-The lunch is at 2 o´clock: This meal is lighter than the one spanish people use to have at this time.

-The dinner is at 6 o´clock: It is a very big change for the young people of Ballyglunin, because the dinner is on the middle of the afternoon.

-The supper is at 9 o´clock: The last meal of the day is a light snack. In Spain, it would be the snack of the 6 o´clock in the evening.
