Since we arrived in Ballyglunin every night we saw an American TV serie called “Revolution” which is inspired in a future apocalypse of the technology. The blackout (the end of the technology) seriously affect to all the world: no more phones, no more cars, no more computers, no more planes, no more light. All the things they knew and had before don’t have any use now. The government disappears and the militia controls the food and the fire guns. The money lost his old value. The hunger of the common people and the barbarity of the militia members turn the world into a nasty society without any values where the strongest and the fastest survive, and the weakest dead.
